No Longer Fighting a Losing Battle
I first realized menopause was upon me when I was 38 years old. I started waking up in the middle of the night with a pool of sweat between my breasts, and having a heavy menses. My prayers for larger breasts were finally answered.
By the time I turned 41, my clothes were tight and the scale told me I had gained 11 pounds in 3 years. I tried exercising, dieting, and I was able to get back to 127 pounds. I was in a continuous battle, and the weight crept back on. I would lose 5 pounds and gain 6 pound over and over again, no matter how much I dieted or exercised. More long I was gaining more than one pound a year and at 71 years old I weighed 176 - a losing battle!
When I came to see Dr. Cederquist, I was looking for a nutritional way to balance my body. Early on, I knew intuitively that our bodies were meant to metabolize our food efficiently and in the right combination to burn off and give proper nutrition.
I had a complete hysterecotomy, and I didn't understand the problems it could cause to the body's entire system. I learned about insulin resistance, and now I know how to control it. I have lost 25 pounds and kept it off for many months. I'm growing older and healthier by the day. Thank you Dr. Cederquist and Staff, for all of your help!
