To cut some of those carbs, ditch the sandwich bread and do as the Koreans. Wrap spicy cooked beef or chicken with leafy greens. Try cabbage or bok choy, or even easier would be the classic romaine lettuce leaf wrap.
If your salad comes unwrapped, make sure you are putting the contents longways with the stem. For travel, place in plastic wrap and roll it up.
If you replace two slices of bread with one large lettuce leaf, you can save up to 40g of carbs and about 150 calories.
