Stop depriving yourself, and add foods into your day instead of avoiding foods to lose weight.
Add in all the healthy foods that make your taste buds tango, like juicy grapes, fresh snow peas, or those fantastic rainier cherries that have just come into season this summer.
It’s easy to disguise veggies in soups, stews or sauces, and luckily fresh zucchini and squash go great with a balsamic dressing dip! Slip these into your lunch, and focus on all the healthy foods to add to your day.
Ideally, the USDA says we need 5 servings of fruits and veggies each day. Keep a tally count each day to see how many you can add in.
Adding in can really work for weight loss, taking away rarely does. It’s also important to see where you are with overall calories, and keep an eye on that, though with adding in healthy foods you get more nutrition for fewer calories. Another weight loss tip – don’t forget about adding in something active too, whether it’s turning on some dance music and throwing down a few moves before dinner, shooting some hoops, or taking a quick stroll.
