3. STEP ON THE SCALE WEEKLY
If the scale doesn’t move, or if it goes up two tenths of a pound, it can drive you bonkers. If it happens often enough, it can make you more likely to throw in the towel. Weigh yourself once, at most twice, per week, and write down the number. Tracking this way ensures that you skip seeing normal fluctuations in water weight that happen during the week.
