Turkey Bacon Brussel Sprouts

Turkey Bacon Brussel Sprouts will delight your taste buds!
  • 1/2 lb brussel sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 slices of turkey bacon
  • ½ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • Pepper to taste
  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and the brussel sprouts and sauté until lightly browned. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cook 2 slices of turkey bacon in the meantime.
  3. Add ½ cup low sodium chicken broth to the brussel sprouts, lower the heat and cook uncovered for about 15 minutes or until the brussel sprouts are tender.
  4. Remove from the pan and place in serving bowl and crumble the turkey bacon on top with a little lemon zest and serve.
